Hi

I’m Michael Keane, local resident and currently chair of the Oval Partnership -a not-for-profit organisation working since 2001 to improve the lives of all those who live and work in the Kennington/Oval/Vauxhall area.  Amongst other things, we helped set up the Oval Farmers Market.

This is a personal blog with an emphasis on things happening in and around the Kennington Oval Vauxhall Area including the market.  The views expressed here are my own but I do try to reflect the views of the local community and businesses.

      We like big and small businesses as sometimes you can’t tell which is going to be which (:-). As you might know te neighbourhood has been the home to many small businesses which went on to do great things (Vauxhall Motors, Sharwoods, Sarsons Vinegar, Christies International Media, Royal Doulton etc.). I will write.
